Modern energy access
Net Zero by 2050, A Roadmap for the Global Energy Sector, published by the International Energy Agency in May 2021, suggests that modern energy access: ‘Includes household access to a minimum level of electricity; household access to safer and more sustainable cooking and heating fuels, and stoves; access that enables productive economic activity; and access for public services.’
